Nariece Acworth
Dispensary Coordinator
Nariece brings over 11 years of pharmacy experience to her role, including eight years in human pharmacy, during which she achieved her NVQ Level 3 qualification. She later became Head of Dispensary for a busy small animal and equine veterinary pharmacy, where she completed her Suitably Qualified Person (SQP) qualification and developed extensive clinical knowledge across a wide range of cases.
At The Hampshire Vet, Nariece draws on her combined human and veterinary pharmacy background to provide safe, accurate, and efficient dispensing services. Nariece’s genuine enthusiasm for her role is reflected in her consistent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining excellent organisational standards. She takes great pride in supporting clients and the clinical team with clear, reliable advice and ensuring every patient receives the highest standard of care.
Nariece is dedicated to ongoing professional development and regularly completes CPD to stay up to date with medications, regulations, and best dispensing practices. She maintains her SQP knowledge through Vetpol and keeps informed about new developments within the industry, and plans to undertake a further advanced SQP practice qualification in the future.
Outside of work, Nariece enjoys a lively home life with her partner, five dogs, three horses, and a rescue cat. She spends much of her free time caring for her animals, enjoying yard life, and exploring the countryside on dog walks. She is also an active member and volunteer with the New Forest Hounds, a clean-boot hunt, where she takes part as a Hunt Club Member, Subscriber, and Field Master. Alongside her professional and personal commitments, Nariece is now in the last year of her law degree, which she is set to complete next year — a challenge she embraces as part of her busy, fulfilling life.
