Head Vet, Director & Founder

Emily is one of our founders and Head Vets at The Hampshire Vet – read more about this here.

Emily graduated from The Royal Veterinary College in 2011. She started her veterinary career on the Isle of Wight, gaining a wide range of medical and surgical experience due to a varied caseload.  Emily particularly enjoys soft tissue surgery and became an advanced practitioner in 2015.

Emily joined a small animal hospital in Basingstoke, Hampshire in 2015, and went on to become Clinical Director in 2019. She particularly enjoyed working with the team to raise clinical standards to the highest possible level and ensuring that both nurses and vets were involved in this process.  She has also recently spent time providing out of hours care, developing her emergency and critical care skills.

During her 7 years in Basingstoke Emily has developed good relationships with many local pets and owners. She truly believes that strong client relationships and clear communication achieve the best patient outcomes.

Emily has a young family and enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter, and multitude of dogs outside of work.
