Mobile Veterinary Service
The Hampshire Vet team will be offering a mobile veterinary service while we await the development of our own veterinary hospital in Beggarwood, Basingstoke with an anticipated completion in September 2023.
From Monday 10thOctober 2022 we will be providing a mobile veterinary service to Basingstoke and the surrounding area.
Opening hours
Our opening hours are:
- Monday to Friday 8am-7pm. On the day emergency appointments are reserved between 6pm-7pm.
- Saturday 8.30am-12pm.

Services
The mobile service will provide the following services at your home:
- Vaccination, flea and worm treatment
- Consultations for acute and chronic issues
- Blood sampling with same day results from our in house laboratory
- Ultrasound where possible without sedation
- Microchipping
- Anal gland expression
- Nail clipping
- Home euthanasia
If your pet needs surgery, a procedure requiring anaesthesia or sedation or hospitalisation, The Hampshire Vet will be using the facilities of Cedar Veterinary Group, Alresford. Emily and Jamie will be the primary treating vets.
Services we would be able to provide include:
- Neutering
- Soft tissue surgery
- Diagnostic imaging
- Dentistry
- Inpatient hospitalisation
- Referral for orthopaedic procedures
The Hampshire Vet will be working in partnership with Cedar Veterinary Group to provide inpatient hospitalisation and urgent care. We have chosen to work with Cedar Veterinary Group as they provide the high standard of care that we expect our patients to receive. They are also able to provide overnight hospitalisation if needed.
Prices
- Visit fee: £52. We will be offering a 50% discount until our premises open.
- Consultation: £45
- Puppy vaccine (per vaccine): £47.50
- Kitten vaccine (per vaccine): £38
- Dog booster vaccine: £45
- Cat booster vaccine: £49

Emergency Care
In the lead up to opening our premises we will be using Vets Now as our out of hours provider. You are able to attend the Winchester, Reading or Farnham Vets Now clinics. We suggest using Vets Now Winchester as this service operates from the premises of Cedar Veterinary Group, Alresford. This means that if your pet required overnight hospitalisation, you would not have to transport them to another clinic in the morning.
