Operating theatres
The surgical facilities at The Hampshire Vet are of the highest standard, including a well-equipped operating theatre with a state-of-the-art anaesthetic monitoring machine. Our highly skilled anaesthetists use the safest anaesthetic protocols designed specifically for each species.
Your pet will be monitored closely by our fully qualified veterinary nurses throughout their procedure to ensure they are as comfortable as they can be whilst in surgery. We also have an extensive range of medication in our on-site pharmacy should any be needed.
Whatever the reason for your pet’s surgery, they will receive the love and attention they deserve, whilst under our care.

Post-operative care
Following your pet’s procedure, our veterinary team will continue to closely monitor them during their recovery. When they wake up, your pet will be moved to one of our comfortable, dedicated cat and dog wards to rest. Food and drink will be offered, and dogs will be taken outdoors to stretch their legs and go to the toilet when they’re ready.
