Some cats find vet visits quite stressful, which can be difficult to deal with as an owner. The Hampshire Vet is committed to providing a cat-friendly environment wherever possible and our team take every care to reduce any potential stresses for cats at every visit.
VIP – Cat only areas
When you arrive at our Basingstoke veterinary practice, you and your cat will be greeted by our friendly client care team. You can both relax in our separate Cat Only waiting area until called for your appointment, with spaces to rest your cat’s basket up off the floor – we can provide towels to cover your cat’s basket to help keep them calm too.
Our cat-friendly facilities include not only a cat only consult room but also a separate cat in-patient ward for when your cat requires a procedure. This provides further separation from our canine visitors and helps to reduce any unnecessary stress on your cat during their time with us.
Personalised services for cats & kittens
Our veterinary surgeons are highly experienced when it comes to caring for cats and kittens. From consultations with a cat vet, to cat vaccinations, health checks, dental care, and microchipping, our vets provide a range of services that can be tailored to your feline companion’s individual needs.
